1930SummerThe earliest nest of the Eastern Kingbird was found near Shakopee by Stanley Stein, on May 20th, contatning one egg~ Alden Risser found two nests at St9 Paul, one on June 8th (two eggs), the other on June 22nd, with small young. Gustav Swanson found a nest near Deer River, which contained young birds on June 15th, and the writer saw a nest near Northome, with an incubating bird, on June 24th.
1931SummerAlden Risser found a nest with.3 eggs on Hay 2.3rd; ano~her nest of thr~e eggs was found at Madison by Mrs. Peterson.
1932SummerThe first nest of this pus~acious flycatcher wns found on Huy 28th with 4 eggs (Dobio). The latest date is July 14th, when a nest with 3 eggs was seen o. t Sturgeon Lake (tho writer).
1933Summer This species is represented 'by fifteen reported nests. Hiemenz found the first at st. Cloud on June 7th, on which date it con. tained 2 fresh eggs. The latest was found by R:isser at Sturgeon Lake on June 27th. It held 2 eggs.
1934Summer The first nests for this season vTere found on Jtme 'lOth, when Hiomenz at St. Cloud discovered a.n incubating bird and John Huseby at · Farm Island Lake, Aitkin County, fotmd a nest with 4 eggs. Tho credit for finding the latest nest must &leo be-divided, for CD July 4~h Hiamenz found a nest with 4 eggs near Pierz, Morrison County, while on it.he same day Mr. and Mrs. Mahle so.w an incubating bird near the Twin Cities.
1935Summer Lnst Nay 25th, Risser, Paul, Erickson~ Haas, Turner arid the others who were t.here saw a kingbi:ix11s nest 'With 2 eggs at Frontenac. Swanson -vrent to Thief Lr.ke Juno 27·th and discovered 6 nests, each with from 3 to 5 eggs,
1936Summer Kenneth Carlander observed building operations at Itasca Park on 1'1ay 28tho A nest of four eggs was found by Zeleznikar near Aurora on June 5th. Paul Highby found a nest in the same area on June 11th when it held one egg. Arnold E:ric:-cson found small young in a nest in Pine Oounty on June 22nd. Alden Risser, Olie Fischer, and party found small young on Birch Islru1d on July 3rd.
1937SummerMarius Morse found a nest of 4 young on July 9, in the Cloquet Valley forest. June 2o-2 nests; 2 eggs, 3 eggs. Euclid. (Dr. Risser and Rysgaard).
1938SummerK. Carlander found Eastern Kingbirds building at Winona on May 20. The other end of the process, full-grown young leaving the nest, was observed by G. Swanson at Itasca Park on August 2.
1940SummerOn June I5, 2 nests were found on Minnesota Point by C. Hero with 3 and I egg respectively. Other nests were found in Duluth by Hero and R. Norman. G. Rysgaard located a nest with 3 eggs at Sturgeon Lake on June 28. The last report came from Harrell and Longley who found 2 nests on July 5 in Ramsey Co.

1961SummerOn 6-7 August, young just out of nest were being fed on Star Island, Cass Lake. Reported by Dean Honetschlager. Two nests near Felton on 4 July contained two eggs and three young. Seen by Avifaunal Club. On 27 June, Miss Ellen Jonas reports two young at Camp Oak Hills, Beltrami County.
